The process begins with planting sugarcane. Once harvested, the sugarcane is processed and the water, sugar, molasses and bagasse (sugarcane fiber) are separated. With the sugarcane fiber we create biomass power and use the additional fiber to create a slurry that is ultimately dried. Through forming molds, we shape this material into clamshells, plates and bowls. We package and ship them for sale to foodservice establishments and consumers.
